Hi all. I went to see my consultant today and told her all about the pain Ive been in. turns out the shoulder pain Im having isnt related to RA but is a frozen shoulder so Im seeing my gp in a couple of weeks to get referred about this. I had my other shoulder operated on for the same thing 3 years ago. She has organised a steroid infusion for me for next Monday and my mx is increasing to 20 from next week & then up to 25 per week. I then see her about 4-6 weeks later and if the increased mx isnt doing it then we are going to talk about anti tnf. fingers (where possible!) crossed for the mx to work its magic!!

Hope you are all ok and enjoying the weather xx

Hello Heather,

Glad you had a good appointment today. Hope your GP can sort out your frozen shoulder. Do they give you
steriods for this before operating ?

Best wishes

Rose

Hi Heather

Glad you have sorted out your shoulder problem with Consultant. How do they know it is a frozen shoulder and not RA?

Hi, I had an ultrasound scan done a couple of weeks ago. Freom my shoulder to half way down my arm ia apparently frozen shoulder symptoms and the rest of the arm is RA pain, lovely combination!!!
